onesurvey is a field survey platform that allows organisations to build surveys, deploy them to field teams via a mobile app, collect responses online or offline, and analyse results through a web dashboard. We are the data processor for survey responses collected by our customers, and the data controller for account and usage information.
When you register for onesurvey, we collect your name, email address, and organisation name. This is used to create and manage your account.
Responses submitted through the onesurvey mobile app may include text answers, numeric values, selected options, dates, times, uploaded images, video, audio recordings, file attachments, and GPS coordinates — depending on the question types configured in your survey. This data belongs to you and is stored on our servers on your behalf.
The mobile app registers a device ID when installed. This is used to associate a device with your account for licensing purposes. We do not collect any other device identifiers or personal information from end-user devices beyond what is submitted as part of a survey response.
We collect basic usage data such as login events, survey creation activity, and sync events. This helps us maintain service reliability and diagnose issues.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your survey response data for advertising purposes.
Survey responses are stored in our cloud infrastructure hosted on Supabase (Mumbai region). Data in transit is encrypted using TLS. Responses collected offline are stored in an encrypted local database on the surveyor's device and transmitted securely when connectivity is restored.
Access to your data is controlled through role-based permissions. Only authorised members of your organisation can access your survey data.
We retain your account data and survey responses for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 30 days before being permanently deleted, giving you time to export what you need. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.

The onesurvey web dashboard uses session cookies for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify account holders by email.
